Construction Site Online Inductions

Upload your company, site, and role inductions to our online construction site induction software, so workers can watch and learn the essentials before their first day on the construction site.

Ensure your construction workers are fully prepared with online site inductions software

In a business as high-risk as construction, it pays to know the people you’ll be working with know their stuff ahead of time - instead of them showing up unprepared on the day.

MSite Inductions is a flexible online safety induction software for you to upload essential forms, video files, safety regulations, questionnaires and other important documents your workers need to view or fill out before their start date.

Not only does this save time - allowing them to begin work more quickly if they’re qualified - it also helps weed out any potential issues in workers’ experience or knowledge that need to be addressed before they step onto your site.

Online inductions ahead of time

Want to get the most out of your workers and give them a clear picture of their roles and responsibilities?

Video inductions and assessments can be assigned to workers for them to complete before their first day on site, so they only need a short site orientation when they arrive - saving time and money.

Our online induction software achieves this through:

Construction induction software that puts your site workers to the test

Suitable knowledge of construction site protocols is essential if you want to maximise productivity and limit accidents on your site.

With our site induction software, you can request your team to complete multiple choice assessments during their online induction to ensure they fully understand your company and site rules. If any issues are raised during this process, you’re able to quickly deal with the individuals involved and ensure they ’are prepared for the role, or choose another candidate if they ’are unsuitable.

You can also customise your content, tailor it to your site and upload your own training materials with full version control in place. That way, you’ll always have complete authority over the materials your workers view and can replace any documents as they become outdated, relieving the need to switch systems down the line.

FAQ's

Are online inductions as in-depth as in-person inductions?

With the MSite Online Inductions platform, you can deliver all the same reading materials, files, assessments and questionnaires as you would in an in-person induction, but using the convenience and usability of digital devices. Workers can still gain an in-depth knowledge of the materials before they arrive on-site, at which point they can still have an introductory meeting with a senior staff member - albeit a much short one, having completed their induction materials at home first.

How do online inductions help boost site productivity?

By completing an online induction prior to arriving on-site for their first day, new starters only need to sit through a much shorter induction and are free to begin work far quicker than if they had to endure a traditional induction. When applied on a large scale with many members of staff, this process could potentially shave hundreds of hours, allowing projects to come in on time and under budget.

Can online inductions be catered to specific workers?

Absolutely. Given the scale of many construction projects, the necessary reading materials may differ between workers, depending on their area of expertise or the specific area of the site in which they will be working. Because of this, managers can upload bespoke induction materials for specific candidates to study ahead of time, rather than expecting every member of staff to read the same material. This approach offers greater versatility and guarantees candidates will be equipped with the safety protocols most relevant to them personally.

Can I block access to someone who has not completed their induction?

If you have Access and Attendance with a Pod or Turnstile, yes - it is easy to block access to workers who have not completed their induction or other mandatory training.

How do I know which induction materials a worker has completed?

Version control means you can see which version of an induction each worker has completed. Their records will be attached to their MSite profile.
