Our Story.

A problem, a smart solution, and the will to make a difference. The story of how it all began goes a long way toward explaining our success. Below are some key events that offer a deeper insight into how we became the construction industry’s leading digitalisation partner in the Nordics and the UK.

2024

Infobric celebrates its 20th anniversary!

The management team is strengthened by Marie Andersson (CHRO) and Caroline Rudbeck (Head of Marketing, Brand and Communication).

A new corporate identity is launched – complete with a new website.

2023

Infobric acquires Hyrma, Intershare, Örndata and AppSys Rent and thereby expands its offering toward the rental industry. A new business unit within training and competence development is established through the acquisition of Jobsafe.

Stirling Square Capital becomes the new majority owner of Infobric. Summa Equity and the management team re-invest as minority owners.

2022

Several Infobric companies rebrand to Infobric, including AddMobile (Infobric Workorder), BuildSafe (Infobric Field) and EquipmentLoop (Infobric Equipment).

Infobric is named Sweden’s 5th largest SaaS-company in Breakit’s annual SaaS Report and is also ranked 4th on the list in terms of growth.

2021

Infobric completes the acquisition of AddMobile and MSite. AddMobile expands Infobric’s Swedish presence with headquarter in Malmö, while MSite represents a further expansion into the UK market where Infobric now has a strong footprint.

2020

Infobric completes several acquisitions including TelliQ, EquipmentLoop, BuildSafe and a majority stake in HMSREG. By this stage, Infobric solutions are used at more than 33, 000 construction sites on a yearly basis with 100 000 monthly subscriptions.

2019

Summa Equity acquires a majority stake in Infobric from Jönköping Business Development. By acquiring Tempus AS and Blastmanager AS, Infobric further expands its business in the Norwegian market.

2017

Infobric is awarded the prestigious Gasell prize for being the second fastest growing and most profitable company in Jönköping County. Infobric is also ranked amongst Sweden’s 50 fastest growing technology companies by Deloitte.

2016

Infobric’s products are now used on more than 15,000 construction sites. The legal requirement for electronic staff ledgers for construction industry staff is launched in Sweden, positioning Infobric as an important player in enabling compliance.

2013-2015

In 2015, Jönköping Business Development acquires approximately 80 percent of the outstanding shares in the company, while Scope Capital divested their entire position.

In 2014, Infobric reaches the milestone of 1, 000 construction sites that are using Infobric products. Infobric continues to expand across sites in Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK.

Infobric also enters the Finnish market.

2010

SafeTool changes name to Infobric and enters the Norwegian and the UK market. Infobric starts to provide site management solutions and begins the journey to evolve into a SaaS company.

2009

During the global financial crisis of 2008 to 2009, Infobric invests heavily in research and development in order to develop new solutions. Some of the largest Nordic construction companies participate in the development process.

2008

SafeTool expands geographically by opening its second office, located in Stockholm, and further grow the organisation by hiring new key employees. Scope Capital invests in the company and becomes the majority owner.

2007

SafeTool expands its product portfolio and can at this point offer a broad range of solutions (including both hardware and software) to ensure safe construction operations.

2006

SafeTool implements the first project targeting safety issues to ensure that only authorised individuals had access to construction sites. Through ID06, the construction industry’s own identity card standard for access and reporting attendance, SafeTool participates in developing a completely new access control system.

2004

Infobric is born in a basement at Science Park in Jönköping in central Sweden. Originally known as SafeTool, the company is founded to address workplace equipment theft.
