Who needs BAS-P/U training?

Do I receive a BAS-P/U certificate after completing the course?

BAS-P/U training providers may issue a course certificate or training record after successful completion. However, a course certificate does not automatically qualify someone to act as BAS-P or BAS-U on every construction project. The appointed coordinator must also have the competence and experience appropriate for the project and its risks.

What is the difference between BAS-P and BAS-U?

The main difference is when they coordinate work environment activities during a construction project.

BAS-P focuses on health and safety during planning and design. This includes identifying risks early and coordinating preventive measures before construction begins.
