About the course
Lift Training Online gives participants the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to work more safely with mobile elevating work platforms, such as boom lifts, scissor lifts and similar equipment.
The theory part is completed online and covers lift types, safety responsibilities, risk awareness, personal fall protection, daily supervision and safe use. The practical part gives participants the opportunity to apply the knowledge in relevant lift situations.

Why the training is important
Work with lifting devices requires the right knowledge, clear risk awareness and documented competence. Under the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s current regulations, employers must ensure that lifting devices and lifting accessories are only used by people who are familiar with the work and have the theoretical and practical knowledge needed for safe use.
Employers must also have documentation of the person’s practical and theoretical knowledge. For powered lifting devices, written permission from the employer is required.
This course supports safer lift use and helps companies maintain better control over completed training and competence documentation.

The practical part gives participants the opportunity to apply their knowledge in relevant lift situations. It covers safe use, handling and checks connected to mobile elevating work platforms.
Can we book the course for a group?

Will I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes, after approved completion of both theory and practical parts, the participant receives a digital course certificate.
Can the training be registered in ID06?
Yes, where applicable, completed training can be registered in ID06 Kompetensdatabas and linked to the participant’s ID06 card, provided that the required ID06 conditions are met.
Does the employer still need to issue written permission?
Yes. After completed training, the participant receives a certificate showing documented lift competence. Under AFS 2023:11, the employer must also issue written permission before the employee uses a powered lifting device. The permission confirms that the employee is allowed to use the relevant lift equipment for the work tasks in that workplace.
